			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you&#8217;re trying to live a healthier lifestyle by incorporating exercise into your routine, it might be a good idea to consider getting a gym membership.  When choosing a gym, there are many things to consider.  </p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to find one you are likely to feel comfortable going to and that you can afford, among other things.  The simple fact is, when you are looking into a gym membership, you need to find a gym that you&#8217;re actually going to be motivated to go to.</p>
<p>Obviously, location is an important factor in choosing a gym.  It&#8217;s a proven fact that if the gym is more than a ten minute walk or drive from your home, you are very unlikely to go.  Convenience is everything with our busy lifestyles.  Another important thing to consider is the cost.  </p>
<p>Gym memberships can be expensive.  You&#8217;ll need to check into the membership fees and find out what&#8217;s included, as many gyms have memberships that limit when you can go and what classes you can attend.  Also, it&#8217;s quite common to have a lofty initiation fee with a gym membership.  Find out everything when it comes to the cost to ensure you can actually afford that particular gym.</p>
<p>Hours of operation are also a thing to consider when choosing a gym.  Simply put, if the gym isn&#8217;t open when you have time to go, then the membership is pretty useless.  Make sure they are open when you need them to be.  Checking into what equipment and classes are available would also be important.  </p>
<p>Do they have classes you want to take, when you can take them?  Do they have the equipment you enjoy using, and is it clean?  Beyond that, you should be comfortable in the gym you choose.  If you don&#8217;t feel comfortable, you are less likely to go, it&#8217;s that simple.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Having a sore lower back is a nagging issue for lots of folks. Actually, many people miss days of work because of it. Most of us know someone who is dealing with back pain (or maybe you&#8217;re dealing with your own). The good news is most of it can be avoided. Much of it comes from having deconditioned muscles in your core (glutes, hamstrings, abs, low back). A regimen of exercise that strengthens and stretches these muscles provides significant low back pain relief or will rid you of it altogether.</p>
<p>This article will teach you some exercises that will help provide low back pain relief. You should mix these in with a regular workout program for best results. If you need to lose weight you should begin to make a serious effort to do so. Excess weight will put senseless pressure on the discs and muscles of the low back. The more weight you need to lose, the less help these exercises will provide. Make sure you consult a physician before attempt these.</p>
<p>1. Stability ball hyper-extension &#8211; From a face down position place a stability ball under your midsection, so that your thighs and stomach are in contact with the ball. The soles of your feet should be flush against a wall, with your toes touching the floor. Place your fingers on your temples and point your elbows out to the side. Keeping your feet still, bend forward at the waist as far as you can. Now lift your torso up as high as you can. You should feel your lower back tighten as you reach peak elevation. Perform 5-20 repetitions.</p>
<p>2. Stability ball reverse hyper-extension &#8211; Use the same stomach and thigh body position on stability ball as you did for hyper-extensions. Place your hands on the floor so they are shoulder width apart. Without moving them, lift your legs up in the air as high as you can. There should only be a very slight bend in your knees. Do 5-20 repetitions of this exercise.</p>
<p>3. Toe touch stretch &#8211; Standing with your feet together, keep your knees straight and bend over. Your arms should hang loose and fingertips should point to the toes. Don&#8217;t force the stretch, relax your muscles and let gravity work on it&#8217;s own. Hold this for 30 seconds.</p>
<p>4. Cat in the alley stretch &#8211; Start by getting on all fours. Push your back up until the upper back muscles are being stretched. Hold that position for 30 seconds.</p>
<p>Having a sore lower back won&#8217;t be an issue if you can do this twice a week. If you want low back pain relief, you can have it. Dealing with back pain from being out of shape is like slipping on a wet floor after seeing the bright yellow sign that read &#8220;wet floor.&#8221; I feel for you, but at the same time you never should&#8217;ve put yourself in that postition. Remember, your best course of action is prevention.</p>

If you&#8217;re looking for some inspiration to lose some pounds without the traditional gym, then I&#8217;ve put together five of my most creative and fun ways to get the exercise in without even realizing you&#8217;re doing it.</p>
<p>1) Dance Classes</p>
<p>One of the best fun ways to get in shape is to dance. There are so many different types of dance class these days, you&#8217;re bound to find one that suits you. Better still, go with a friend. It&#8217;s a fantastic night out and you&#8217;ll be burning calories at the same time! When you&#8217;re not out at your class, just put on some uplifting music at home and dance around the place. See how tired you get in just thirty minutes &#8211; you&#8217;ll be getting a fantastic workout without even trying!</p>
<p>2) Go Out With Your Pet</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve got a dog then it&#8217;s time to start bonding. It&#8217;s great fun going for a long walk or run with your pet &#8211; you&#8217;ll see how happy it makes them and it&#8217;ll eventually make you fitter, too. Run around with the dog, throw some balls, just get him excited and worn out!</p>
<p>3) Play Sports With Friends</p>
<p>Playing sports with friends is far more fun than having to go to the gym on your own every week. Get a group of you to meet down the park and play a game of football, or you could simply play Frisbee on the beach. Whatever it is, as long as you&#8217;re moving sports are perfect ways to get in shape.</p>
<p>4) Sign Up for A Charity Run</p>
<p>Doing a sponsored walk or run is one of the best ways to earn some money for charity. What better motivation do you need to get out there and to start exercising? Whenever you&#8217;re feeling tired or down about being active, just remember that you&#8217;re doing it for a fantastic reason.</p>
<p>5) Play A Game</p>
<p>These days, even playing a computer game can keep you fit! Games such as the Wii Fit are now some of the most popular ways to get in shape. They give you a real workout but they make it fun, helping to take the pain out of exercising regularly. Not only this, but they&#8217;re a fraction of the cost of buying a membership to the gym!</p>
<p>No matter how you exercise, have some fun!
